We are sitting outside a hotel borrowing their signal as we have been in the middle of nowhere for the past few days. We are learned some valuable lessons.
1. Carefully measure TV before purchasing. 1/4 inch makes all the difference when it is someone else's RV. If it had been ours, we would have rammed it in there.
2. Before emptying sewer, make sure covers are in place. I heard an entire new vocab as green ooze hit the ground. Something about needing another shower!!!???
3. When an RV park tells you to check your leaks because water is precious, they don't appreciate your wet, green contribution.
4. Human excretion is green :) perhaps you get the picture.
5. Tiny curves on map make for an adventure on winding roads and climbing through the desert.
6. There is no place like home. We have seen more cactus in the past few days than we knew possible. These Texans would croak when they saw the Rockies.
7. A marriage of 29 1/2 years is a precious thing. He drives, I sleep. We drive for hours in comfortable silence. You can speak across a room without saying a thing. We laugh and just appreciate the gift of life, friends and family.
8/ Email is a wonderful invention. We are thoroughly enjoying keeping in touch with all those who are dropping notes. Yes, we are getting them.
9. Tomorrow we arrive in Edinburgh, our destination for the next while.
10. I bought K. a shirt for his wedding today and he is convinced his mother is nuts!!!! He was planning on shopping in June!!! Of course, this comes from a father who shops for Christmas, Christmas eve. Have I taught him nothing?????????!!!!!!
Love to all, H and N.
We were going to try our bar b q tonight but have decided to look for Chinese!! :)
