Shopping Conspiracy

Yesterday was winding roads and slow going. Today was pedal to the metal, straight roads through miles and miles and miles of High Desert country. It had a beauty in its own way. The one thing I noticed is that there were absolutely NO stores to check out. The tiny towns we passed through had no temptations whatsoever!!! I think my husband has been map studying. This will delight SOME of our friends (Lance). That is brutal!!! It has been so good to hear from those who we have. We so look forward to keeping in touch. We will probably celebrate the incoming New Year our favouite way, sound asleep!!!

We have not experienced any snow on the roads so far so hope we have bypassed most of the bad roads by staying west. We should arrive in Buckeye tomorrow.

Over Hill and Dale

We are somewhere in Oregon and have travelled through the most picture perfect country all day but on very slow roads. Most of the time the winding trail was 35 mph. The beauty was worth it and besides , we are on holiday!! It was a 12 hour day so needless to say, we were happy to stop, book a king size bed for the night and look forward to a good night's sleep. We are seeing country we have never seen and are loving the adventure.Wish you all were here with us.

Hey mom, I started a blogspot for you to record this new phase of life if you so choose. Get your thoughts and pictures on here but remember...the whole world can see it.
